Reading is integral to the As-Sabiqun tarbiyah program. Books have the power of aiding us in our quest to develop ourselves intellectually, morally, spiritually, and in many other ways. However, the acquisition of knowledge is useless without an outlet for practical implementation; our development is accelerated and refined by such real-life implementation and work. The As-Sabiqun movement provides an ideal opportunity to translate the ideas contained in these books into actions which will make a difference in the world (insha'Allah).
It must be noted that while we have a high level of respect for the writers of these books, we do not necessarily subscribe 100% to any particular writer's views. In other words, we remain highly inspired by the content of the books listed here, but we are not confined by them; we also draw from our own experience and ideas.
