Pic of UmarThe As-Sabiqun movement has a range of projects that are being implemented nationwide. These projects are funded partly by our own revenue from businesses, but this is significantly supplemented by friendly donations. Some of our projects are yet to be started because certain quantities must be raised before their commencement. Any donations will be appreciated, no matter how small. Donations are tax-deductible. Our Federal Tax ID# is: 94-3062482. To support any of our projects, send a check or money order (with project name in the memo line) to:

Community-Building Project

Picture of HediyahWe have a six-point plan of action in each location where a branch of our movement is established (or yet to be established). Our goal is to establish model Islamic communities in each of these locations, where local residents can see a practical, dynamic Islam which we believe is the best da'wah. Donations for our Community-Building Project could go towards any of the pillars of community which we have outlined in our plan of action--whether building housing for Muslim families, creating space for Muslim businesses, or even establishing new masjids. Collected funds will be applied to these projects based on priority.

Donations toward the Community Support Fund help to cover the various expenses associated with maintaining the property we already own in various cities. These expenses include property management and maintenance and property taxes.

School Fund

Although the creation of full-time Islamic schools is a part of community-building, we have included a separate fund for our schools here because of the priority with whichwe hold this endeavor. Islamic schools can raise children with a strong Islamic identity so that they can effectively meet and deal with the challenges of growing up in the West, and so they could be the ones to mold society (insha’Allah) instead of having society mold them. We follow excellent curriculums which are accredited and include all of the basic subjects taught in other schools (English, Math, Science, etc.), to which we add our curriculums in Islamic Studies and Qur’anic Studies. With dedicated teaching staffs, our full-time Islamic schools offer a quality education with a community-based approach. Each of our schools is at a different stage of growth, and therefore have varying needs, but we are constantly striving to improve the quality of all of our schools, whether this means building new space for classrooms to accommodate increasing enrollment, adding to the modestpayment given to teachers, upgrading the technology and equipment in our classrooms, adding furniture, or simply maintaining consistency in terms of supplies.
